Informed Command - AIIDIOTSAI

Informed Command is human-in-the-loop done right: not approving every step, not flying blind, but the ideal state where you spend attention only on judgment and the work never quietly disappears. The product is peace of mind.

Being informed is knowing which of three states you are in: it will run clean for three hours (attention fully freed), it will stall now and then so keep half an eye on it (watching, not anxious), or you have no idea what it is doing (maximum mental noise). Blindness is maximum uncertainty; the work may be fine and opacity manufactures the anxiety anyway. Informed Command keeps you out of the third state.

A design passes only if it avoids both failure families: dragging you into the mechanics (approval spam) and leaving you blind or uncertain (opacity). Run every loop, prompt, objective, and harness through the six-part filter: intent, visibility, authority, control, trust, learning.

Ten acceptance tests split into gates a build can enforce (convergence denominator present, silence is watchdog-backed, read-only inspection, authority visible, status declares its fields) and judgment a human or reviewing agent rules on (no canonical surprise, alerts actionable, no fake calm, correction closes the loop, no approval spam). A filter you do not run is a doctrine you do not have. Machine view: /informed-command.json.
